I remember reading that Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth is allowed in colorless Commander decks because it doesn't have or imply a mana symbol.

Since I'm having trouble getting to 37 land with the colorless nonbasics I own, are there any other similar lands that name land types that are allowed, such as Krosan Verge?

Let's see if this url pastes without exploding:
Code:
http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?action=advanced&type=+[land]&text=+![{W}]+![{U}]+![{B}]+![{R}]+![{G}]+[add]+[to]+[your]+[mana]&subtype=+![forest]+![plains]+![island]+![swamp]+![mountain]

Alara panoramas are the most obvious and cheap. Quite a few others. Page upon page, really. That search is probably not entirely reliable.

Edit: Wait, that's totally not the question you asked. I'm an idiot. (Though alara shard lands are technically an answer, but I think they're useless like krosan verge would be.)

The five Panoramas from Alara should be cheap and easy to find.

I was going to try and list more, but then I remembered this thread from a couple years ago. It should be pretty complete, despite it's age.

How about the Panoramas from Alara? Also Cavern of Souls and City of Shadows.

No, this is helpful, thanks.

Krosan Verge at least taps for a colorless, which is all I'm asking for.

Here is a list of good lands for a karn deck; if you have them good; if not, most of them are cheaper(ish) though, some aren't.

The panoramas; krosan verge

Ancient Tomb
Blasted Landscape
Blinkmoth Nexus
Blinkmoth Well
Buried Ruin
Cavern of Souls
Crystal Vein
Darksteel Citadel
Desert
Deserted Temple

Eldrazi Temple
Eye of Ugin
Gargoyle Castle
Ghost Quarter
Ghost Town
Gods' Eye, Gate to the Reikai
Hall of the Bandit Lord
Haunted Fengraf
High Market
Homeward Path

Inkmoth Nexus
Island of Wak-Wak
Maze of Ith
Mystifying Maze
Mikokoro, Center of the Sea
Miren, the Moaning Well
Mishra's Factory
Mishra's Workshop (way expensive)
Mutavault
Petrified Field

Phyrexia's Core
Quicksand
Rath's Edge
Reliquary Tower
Rishadan Port
Springjack Pasture
Stalking Stones
Strip Mine
Tectonic Edge
Temple of the False God

The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale
Tower of the Magistrate
Unstable Frontier
Untaidake, the Cloud Keeper
Urza's Factory
Vesuva
Wasteland
Winding Canyons
Wintermoon Mesa
Zoetic Cavern

Now, ignoring the super-expensive and somewhat-limited utility lands: Mutavault, Wasteland, Tabernacle, Rishadan Port, Workshop, , Quicksand, Rath's Edge, Island of Wak-Wak, unstable fronteir, ancient tomb, and Untaidake; that leaves us with 39 lands not including the panoramas or verge.

Quicksand is a common from Worldwake and available for about 10 cents from pretty much anywhere.

I reckon the panoramas from the Alara block would fit what you are after. I'm surprised no one has mentioned them yet.

Ancient Tomb isn't that much, and is basically Workshop #2 in Karn decks (or #1 if you don't own a Workshop, as most don't).

Don't forget Boseiju...oh, wait. Guess there aren't too many colorless instants or sorceries...forget it. Unless you like pain for no gain...

I went through the different available lands, and ranked them by what I consider their playability in a coloress deck to be:

Tier 0: Great cards, good in every colorless deck
Blinkmoth Nexus (man-land)
Buried Ruin (graveyard recursion - artifacts)
Deserted Temple (untap other land)
Ghost Quarter (land kill)
High Market (sac creature for life gain)
Homeward Path (anti-creature theft)
Inkmoth Nexus (man-land)
Mishra's Factory (man-land)
Mishra's Workshop (AWESOME ... but EXPENSIVE!)
Mutavault (man-land)
Phyrexia's Core (sac artifact for life gain)
Reliquary Tower (no max hand size)
Springjack Pasture (token gen; mana ramp)
Strip Mine (land kill)
Tectonic Edge (land kill)
Thespian's Stage (clone any land)
Tower of the Magistrate (target creature gets pro:artifact)
Vesuva (clone any land)
Wasteland (land kill)

Tier 1: No downside + good utility uses
Blinkmoth Well
Cavern of Souls
Desert
Dread Statuary (Man-land)
Dust Bowl (sac lands to kill lands)
Eldrazi Temple (if you run Eldrazi spells; Tier 3 otherwise)
Glimmerpost (gain life)
Haunted Fengraf (graveyard recursion - creatures)
Mikokoro, Center of the Sea
Miren, the Moaning Well (sac creature for life gain)
Mystifying Maze (blink attacking creature)
Petrified Field (graveyard recursion - lands)
Rogue's Passage (make creature unblockable)
Seraph Sanctuary (gain life)
Stalking Stones (man-land)
Temple of the False God (mana ramp)
Urza's Factory (token gen)
Urza's Mine (mana ramp)
Urza's Power Plant (mana ramp)
Urza's Tower (mana ramp)
Winding Canyons (give creatures flash)
Zoetic Cavern (morph land)

Tier 2: No downside + has utilitly, or downside offset by utility
Ancient Tomb (upside: ramp; downside: life loss)
Cathedral of War
Crystal Vein
Darksteel Citadel
Gargoyle Castle (sac it for a token creature)
Gods' Eye, Gate to the Reikai
Maze of Shadows (anti-shadow)
Quicksand (sac to maybe kill non-flying attacker)
Rishadan Port (tap down other lands)
Scorched Ruins (sac 2 lands when it comes into play; taps for 4)
Sheltered Valley (life gain)
Swarmyard (gives regen to small selection of creatures)

Tier 3: No downside, but no/small utility benefit
Archaeological Dig
Bant Panorama
Blasted Landscape
Cloudpost
Elephant Graveyard
Esper Panorama
Exotic Orchard
Gemstone Caverns
Ghost Town

Tarnished Citadel
Tendo Ice Bridge
Terminal Moraine

Tier 4: Downside, but may be playable based on deck
Ancient Ziggurat (downside: only used to cast creatures)
City of Shadows (need to exile own creatures to power up, but is a sac outlet)
Contested War Zone (opponents may gain control)
Eye of Ugin (Tier 2 if you play many Eldrazi, but the search is good even if not)
Glimmervoid
Grand Coliseum
Hall of the Bandit Lord (pay life for mana, cast creature gets haste)
Krosan Verge
Lotus Vale
Primal Beyond (only good if you have Elementals)
Rupture Spire
Transguild Promenade
Untaidake, the Cloud Keeper (only useable for Legendary spells)
Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth (probably helps other players more, but; use it to kill their U:ToY)
Wintermoon Mesa

Tier 5: downside with little/no utility benefit
Boseiju, Who Shelters All (only good with instants/sorceries)
City of Brass (damages you)
City of Traitors (you lose it if you play more land)
Forbidden Orchard (downside: gives token creatures to your opponents)
Forsaken City (doesn't untap)
Gemstone Mine (sac after 3 uses)

Rainbow Vale (goes to opponent if you use it)
Rhystic Cave (opponents can pay mana to stop you from getting any)

It's out of date (by a year) but was very comprehensive at one point. Maybe I'll update it again.

Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth also makes all your lands produce mana, even the ones that normally don't (like Maze of Ith), which makes it not bad to include if you happen to have one and are running that kind of land.
