I decided I wanted to come up with a theme I haven't seen before in an EDH deck to my knowledge which is farming. I've been looking for obvious cards to put in the deck so far but have only come up with a few things. Any ideas to help flesh this deck out would be great.

I'm not sure what colors I'll need for it. I don't plan to flesh out the land base until I've come up with enough cards to get a good skeleton for the deck. I definitely think it will be very land-based. The more land you have the more you can grow.

This is what I have so far.

Creatures:
Budoka Gardener
Diligent Farmhand
Harvest Wurm

Spells:
Life from the Loam
Swords to Plowshares
Crop Rotation
Reap and Sow
Weird Harvest

Enchantments:
Heartbeat of Spring
Rites of Flourishing
Mirari's Wake
Land Tax
Doubling Season

Land:
Khalni Garden

If you have Harvest Wurm you may as well have Worm Harvest as well.... ;)

Weathered Wayfarer!

I'll think of more later, theme's too cool not to help out with.

Planar Birth seems delicious with dredgers (and Land Tax), like Life From the Loam. Seems in theme as well.

I love theme decks. I have a Zur the Enchanter Deck with a Geriatric Theme to it. Every card (except the land) has an elderly person on it (link: http://mtgcommander.net/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=7162). If you can think outside of the box you can end up have a pretty good deck with answers, threats, and synergies. Sometimes they aren't the optimal way to do things but style points have to be considered for being on theme. If I can come up with more I will post them.

Farmstead may be the best you can get for a Barn

Teneb, the Harvester
Reaper King
