The debate on hybrid cards continues amongst the rules folks. Thing is, we want to make sure we get it right the first time, and there are good opinions on both sides (as seen during the public debate). The last thing we want to do is make a decision, then reverse it later.

So, we're going to put off a decision until June 1st. This serves two purposes.. it will sync up the announcement with WotC banned/restricted announcements, and give us a chance to meet up and discuss it at PT Hollywood.

In the meantime, offcolour Hybrid cards are still officially disallowed... but if you're going to be at Hollywood, please consider what cards you WOULD play with if they were legal and come prepared to discuss those. (If you'd like to bring a second deck with some offcolour hybrid cards in it, for testing the "look and feel" in a game, please do... but for most games they'll still be off-limits).
